skip navigationThe Middletown Swim Club is one of the oldest Swim Clubs in Monmouth County. The Middletown Sports Complex has continued the legacy of the Swim Club and made it even more enjoyable for all members. The Pool Club at Middletown is one of the best places to be from June through September. During the season, the pool club is open from May 27th to September 4th. Enjoy days at the pool, recreational activities, live music, ice skating, and more! More information on 2023 registration and rates can be found below, as well as a list of amenities. We welcome Middletown and non-Middletown Residents as well as daily passes! We are also available for parties daily. Let the countdown to Summer begin!
Members are required to display their ID cards for admittance. Transfer of ID cards constitutes grounds for suspension or revocation of membership. There is a $10 replacement fee for all lost or defaced ID cards.
All guests must be wearing a daily band. Guest admission fees are not refundable. The management is not responsible for weather conditions.
Any member/guest under 16 must be accompanied/supervised by an adult at all times (members 18 years of age or older - proof of age required).
Lifeguards are empowered to enforce swimming regulations. Members and guests must comply with the lifeguard's instructions. Lifeguards are authorized to impose "time outs" for members breaking facility policies. "Time Outs" may last up to fifteen (15) minutes, depending on the violation. Lifeguards are authorized to require anyone who may be a threat to themselves or others to exit the pool and or the facility.
Improper diving can cause serious injury. Therefore diving is only permitted in the diving tank off the diving boards. Any member or guest violating this rule can be asked to leave the complex for the day. Additional action will be taken if the offense is repeated. No lingering in the diving tanks is allowed. Divers are to dive straight off the diving board, not off to the sides.
Only one person at a time is permitted on a diving board and slide.
These items are on a first-come, first-served basis. Please refrain from saving chairs or using them to store belongings. Please be considerate, do not take more than one chair per person. If you need assistance moving a chair or umbrella, please ask a staff member to help you. You may bring in your own chair.
Outside food is prohibited at the Middletown Sports Complex.
The cafe is open during pool hours. No coolers are permitted.
Gum chewing is prohibited at the facility. Glass of any kind is not permitted at the facility.
No flotation devices (rafts, tubes, etc.) are allowed in the pools. Small children may wear puddle jumpers or life vests in shallow areas only. No swimming aids will be permitted in the diving tanks or the slide.
In the event of thunder or lightning, members and guests will be cleared from the water and surrounding area for their safety. Members, guests, and staff are not safe congregating under trees or shelters. At the sound of thunder or the sight of lightning, the facility will be cleared and closed. Members and guests must exit the facility and seek shelter in their vehicles to wait for the storm to pass. Members shall not wait in any outside areas of the facility.
In the event the storm passes, the facility will re-open. The storm is considered over thirty (30) minutes after the last sound of thunder or sighting of lightning, and there are evident signs of clearing (i.e., the sky is not dark and threatening). If the facility closes due to bad weather, refunds or rain checks are not issued, regardless of the time the member or guests entered the facility.
MSC management has the right to close the facility or an individual pool at its' discretion and due to any of the following:
All pools will close fifteen (15) minutes before closing time.
The pool supervisory personnel have the authority to close the pools and or the facility whenever they feel the health and safety of the participants is in danger due to breakdown, operational difficulties, or inclement weather. The facility shall reopen at the discretion of the supervisory personnel.
The interpretation and enforcement of this body of rules and regulations will be the responsibility of the pool supervisory personnel and or their assistants at all times. Decisions and actions made necessary by circumstances not specifically covered herein will be at the discretion of the supervisory personnel.
